When students apply, they provide their preferences for technology and institutions, which are then given a serial number. Auto-migration is the process where your result moves up toward a higher serial number in your preference list.
A student’s auto-migration is on by default. If a student wishes, or if they get a chance to enroll in their preferred institution/technology, they can turn it off. If not turned off, auto-migration will remain active.
If a seat becomes available in a higher preference and your auto-migration is on, your result will move up according to your preference list. The 1st auto-migration will occur after the 1st phase results, and the 2nd auto-migration will occur after the 2nd phase results. Auto-migration will happen as many times as the waiting list is published. If auto-migration remains on, you will have to study at the last technology/institution assigned to you. However, a student can turn off auto-migration if they wish or if they get an opportunity to enroll in their preferred institution/technology.
Quota applicants must first apply online and upload the necessary documents. After applying, they must submit a printed copy of their Application ID along with photocopies of the relevant original documents (as per item 5 below) in person. These must be presented for verification and submitted to Agriculturist Dr. Md. Abdul Malek, Curriculum Specialist (Agriculture), in room 706 of the new building of the Bangladesh Technical Education Board, before the last date of the online application period. Otherwise, the applicant will not be considered for the quota. Furthermore, if any proof is found to be false or forged, the student’s admission will be considered canceled, and action will be taken according to criminal law.
For those who have passed ‘O’ Level, their mark sheets will be equated to the SSC standard by the Dhaka Education Board, and they will be given the opportunity for admission based on merit. The student must, on their own initiative, get the equivalence from the Dhaka Education Board and then apply manually by appearing in person with the original documents in room 706 of the new building of the Bangladesh Technical Education Board within the application period specified in the admission notice.
If a student is enrolled in multiple curricula or was previously studying elsewhere in the same curriculum, or if they have confirmed admission in multiple institutions/curricula in the same academic year, it must be canceled within the date specified by the board. If the duplicate admission is not canceled within the time set by the board, the student will not have the opportunity to register.
